Aims and Vision
The major aims and visions of this journal are as follows:
1. Expanding the frontiers of knowledge in climatology and meteorology: Publishing original and innovative findings in the fundamental and applied domains of climatology, meteorology, and remote sensing, with the aim of contributing to a better understanding of atmospheric phenomena and climate change.
2. Appliedization of research and contributing to the resolution of national issues: Directing research toward national needs, such as water resource management, agriculture, energy, natural disasters (drought, floods, storms), and land-use planning, and establishing a bridge between research and policy-making.
3. Enhancing scientific standing and internationalization: Improving the quality of articles and publication structures in such a way that the journal becomes one of the credible scientific sources in the region and the world and is indexed in international citation databases such as Scopus and WoS.
4. Promoting science and enhancing the climate literacy of society: Publishing promotional and review articles in more accessible language for non-specialist target audiences (managers, planners, the general public) in order to raise public awareness concerning climate hazards and challenges.
